Starting over.

It sounds refreshing,

doesn’t it?

A clean slate,

a fresh chapter,

another chance

to redefine yourself.

People love

to romanticize beginnings

as if they’re always

these wonderful opportunities wrapped in glitter and gold.

But here’s the truth:

Starting over can be hard.

It can be messy,

frustrating,

and downright exhausting.

I find myself here

beginning again.

Don’t get me wrong,

I’m grateful

for the chance to reset,

to continue to grow, to just be myself.

But some days,

it feels like

I’m just running on a hamster wheel,

repeating the same cycles over and over

until I could scream.

Beginnings again.

They can be great.

But they can also suck.

There’s beauty in new beginnings.

The hope,

the

promise

of something better.

But

let’s be real

about the reality,

too.

The fear of failure.

The frustration

of

boredom.

The sheer energy

it takes to keep going

when you’re not even sure

what the finish line looks like anymore.

Yet here I am,

pen in hand (or more likely, fingers on the keyboard),

putting my message in a bottle

and tossing it into the ocean of billions of people.

Maybe you’ll read this and understand.

Maybe you’ll feel the same way

and realize

you’re not alone.

Because

if there’s one thing

I’ve learned about beginning again,

it’s this:

We don’t have to go through it alone.

We’re all repeating something,

whether it’s learning,

unlearning,

or just figuring it all out again.

And maybe,

just maybe,

there’s comfort in knowing

someone else

is out here going through the same thing.

So, here’s to us

~ the dreamers,

the starters,

the people brave enough (or stubborn enough)

to keep going

even when life feels like a merry-go-round.

Let’s find the music in the madness,

the lessons in the chaos.

Here’s to beginning again. 🥂
