The Unobserved Me

I never imagined that love could feel this complicated.

I’ve been through a lot. And it’s okay that it’s taking me some time to find my way back to myself again. What matters is that I am finding my way.

Life’s been lifin’. I’ve been going through a lot —mentally, emotionally, spiritually. The kind of “a lot” that don’t come with a warning or a roadmap. And somewhere in the middle of it all, I realized I’d been holding onto some deep, quiet resentment.

I’m stuck. And not in some cute, metaphorical way where I find a silver lining in the struggle.

Proverbs 18:1 “Whoever isolates himself pursues his own selfish desires; He rejects all practical wisdom.” That hit me hard...

It’s been three weeks. I know, it sounds dramatic to say he doesn’t even notice I’m not reaching out anymore, but that’s just how I feel…

It’s a painful truth that the ones closest to your heart are the ones most capable of hurting you.

He has this incredible ability to affect me in ways no other human being on earth ever has ~ or ever could again.

This morning, my mind feels like it’s dancing with possibility.

Once again, my thoughts return to love

I’ve always had a lot to say about women who put up with all kinds of nonsense from their significant others.

Today, I woke up feeling like I needed some Me Time more than ever.

Last night, I found myself drunk texting my first love.
