A Love Truth

Over the past few years,

I’ve learned

some tough lessons

~ the kind

that come from people

you love

and

trust,

even family.

It’s a painful truth

that the ones closest

to your heart

are the ones most capable

of hurting you.

But that’s not on you!💯

When

someone chooses

to

hurt someone

who

loves them,

they’re not

just causing unnecessary pain;

they’re losing

something invaluable.

YOU

are invaluable.

They’re losing someone

who genuinely

cared

for them,

someone who

wished them nothing

but the best.

All I’m sayin’ is…🫦

hurting those

who

love you

the

most?

That’s not just unkind,

it’s unwise.

As for me,

I’ve made a decision.

I’m going to treat the ones I love

with love

while I still have the chance

to love them.

Because

love

isn’t guaranteed.

It’s a gift,

not a promise.

And while it

doesn’t always

come from the people

we want it to,

we shouldn’t ignore love

when it’s offered

genuinely

and

truly.

So,

if you’re lucky enough

to have someone

who loves you,

cherish it.

Love

them back

while you can.

Life’s too short

to waste on

anything

less.

With Love,

Reina Dee🌿
